Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FixerCV ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and paying customers.

2. What FixerCV Does

FixerCV is an AI-powered CV and resume optimization tool. Users upload a CV document and provide a job description. Our AI analyzes the CV and generates an ATS compatibility score, recruiter feedback, and an optimized rewrite.

FixerCV is an informational tool. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, interview invitations, or job offers. Results are based on AI analysis and represent suggested improvements, not definitive assessments.

3. Accounts

You may use basic features without an account. Creating an account requires a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Payments and Refund Policy

The basic CV analysis is provided free of charge. The full report (complete CV rewrite, cover letter, LinkedIn optimization) requires a one-time payment of $9.99 USD.

Refund Policy: Because digital content is delivered immediately upon payment, we generally do not offer refunds once a full report has been generated and viewed. If you experience a technical failure that prevented you from receiving your report, contact us at hello@fixercv.com within 7 days and we will either regenerate your report or issue a refund at our discretion.

Payments are processed by Stripe. All prices are in USD. VAT may apply depending on your location.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of your CV content. By uploading content to FixerCV, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it for the purpose of providing the Service.

You represent that you have the right to upload the content you provide (i.e., it is your own CV or you have permission to submit it). Do not upload content containing third-party personal data without appropriate consent.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to submit fraudulent, misleading, or harmful content
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or automate use of the Service
• Use the Service in ways that violate applicable laws or regulations
• Submit content containing others' personal data without consent
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission

7. Intellectual Property

The FixerCV name, logo, website design, and platform technology are our intellectual property. The AI-generated content in your reports (rewritten CV, cover letter, etc.) is provided for your personal use in your own job search.

You may not resell, redistribute, or represent AI-generated report content as your own creation for commercial purposes.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT THE AI ANALYSIS WILL RESULT IN EMPLOYMENT. USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIXERCV SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these Terms, at our sole discretion, with or without notice. You may close your account at any time by emailing us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration.
